Default Great day on Kentucky Lake!

Hadn't fished by myself in a looong time! Had all ten rods out cranking and man it was game on! Lost a bunch near boat but managed about 16 crappie keepers and some yellows to put in the freezer all in about 2 1/2 hours. Very aggressive bite as some had 250 Arkies down their throat so far I had to rip their gills out to get my lure back. Fortunately I was on a freezer trip filler so didn't matter. Seems those pesky short fish from the spring are big enough to eat!! Some big yellows and a 4 pound channel thrown in was fun. Had 3 crappies and a yellow on a the same time.....only got the yellow and one crappie in because the other two crappies jumped while skiing out the back of the boat. Fun day and the old guy who started trolling behind and in front of me only had two.....but he got some free tips I guess!!! I take the follow boats as a compliment!! This is the start fellas...let's go fish!! Pink, purple and black did the trick today. Only lost one crank, but it was on a big cat that popped my line

That's a nice mess of fish. Are we going to see them later this month at the park, albeit in a little different condition?

Nice day dude! I'm taking off Friday and will be somewhere in the north end of the lake.
