    Default Billings Mt./Beartooth

Back to the repair. Had to replace the slide rams. Found a place in Billings and stayed in their parking sights. Had to overnight the parts. The slides would wiggle out as we were going down the road. Talked to a trusted dealer and he suggested I get them changed before they totally blew out and we had no control of the slides. So made an unplanned stop and missed staying at Red Lodge Mt. But it was close, so we drove out and toured beartooth pass anyway. Also thought Billings was okay. Only missed 1 day in West Yellowstone and the ext warranty picked up $1500 of the bill, so all was good. Pics are scenic drive on beartooth and one of Billings from a road above town. Also, bumped an old motor home getting gas when we left Billings. A little rubbing fixed mine and theirs was so old and beat up you could not tell it was hit. A young couple who looked right against being homeless. The rv was at least 40 years old and was in bad shape. After she called me an idiot and I agreed, we settled down. They wanted no part of a report or police. I felt bad and gave them $40 and they almost cried and immediately bought more gas.

I've been up there many times, always on 2 wheels. Bear tooth Pass and Red Lodge are some of my favorite places on earth. Cooke City, MT isn't far behind.
