Looks like #5 will disqualify your group just like mine Bill. Got a couple of friends coming in, both Crappie.com members who will be fishing with me. I'll donate the $40 for our team but looks like we won't be eligible for the winner's share. Much more important for me to have an enjoyable day on the water with good friends I don't get to fish with enough than worry about competing with others.
Our catch will go in for the fish fry just the same.

Cant see where it would matter as long as you only run 8 poles.

We used these rules last year for the first time at the shindig due to the fact that we had some complaints over 3 or more people in the boat fishing in previous years. I will say it went off without a hitch. As a matter of fact everyone raved over the success of the tournament and the rules last year and it how much fun it was with a fine turn out. These are also the rules that we use throughout the year in other FJ Tournaments and didn't want to confuse and cause problems in tournaments the rest of the year for us. They were actually modeled after the Mississippi FJ tournaments. That is the reason for the rules. No disrespect but if we don't want to do this next year I think it will just have to be stated that it is a braggin rights fishing day for the shindig weekend but at this point it is too late. I know you will have many opinions on this because some come to win and others come for the fellowship (and there is nothing wrong with either), but last year seemed to be a blast. Can't wait.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.:rolleyes:bandchaser LIKED above post
I agree (although I may not make the tourney because I will be late getting back on Thursday night from South Dakota) every one of these in the past was smooth and enjoyable, with that said at first I thought why would it matter on the amount of ppl you can only have 8 rods after some thought into it I realized it would be of some advantage if I had 8 guys watching 8 rods my odds of not missing any bites would be at a greater advantage because now I have 16 eyes and 16 hands instead of 4 of each so there would be an advantage .
Sounds like fun and I'm sure the fellowship will be great. If we did not have plans for next Sat. I would love to be there. But were in Enid now, will get home Sunday. Taking my Step son fishing Monday. Dr's Appointment Tuesday and Friday. And we have a dinner in Dickson Tn Sat Evening. So its out for me. Will try next year, would love to get up there and fish.
Pete
How about if you paid 2 entry fees? Would that make 3 people OK?
