Been a bird problem for years. Ups and downs, but the power plant is having success with "floppling car lot air dancers" chasing the birds away. Guess where they went? About 300 yards south.

When I lived in the area I either launched from Osbornes or Deep Bottom. NEVER Dutch Gap....for two reasons. The birds and the ...ahem....non-fishing gentlemen visitors who liked to hang out in the parking lot.
I see those birds all over the state, they can't be endangered. Just blast the dang things and be done with it. They cause so much damage to the unattended vehicles!
Easy solution. French fries and alkaseltzer. Start them on the feeding frenzy with the fries and then switch over. No more bird problem. Easy. Cheap. Another fine solution to a worthless animal brought to you by your friendly neighborhood Crappie farmer.
