    Default Chickamauga Lake 9/27/2016 report:

Dr Phillip and I only had 2 hours to fish this morning, so we fished early for bass using spoons. That only produced 1 spotted bass and 1 bluegill, then we switched to crappie fishing which is our first love. Water temp on the Chick this morning was 81.2 degrees so the temperature is slowly coming down. Chilly night this week should cause a very good drop in surface temps which in turn should turn the crappie on big time.

Bass Assassin 2" Pro Tiny Shads in the Bluegrass color was the only lure that produced crappie this AM. Of course, we didn't have a lot of time to experiment with colors with the limited amount of time that we had to fish. Grin.

We caught 5 keeper crappie with 3 shorts on the Bass Assassin lures. The fish were in the 15' range and were eating good. For my friends in the ETCC who are having trouble finding the Chicken on a Chain color, here is some info. Most tackle stores around here are not carrying the lures yet, but you can order the 2016 catalog and also order the ones you want directly from Bass Assassin. The number to call is 386-294-1049.

I am currently setting up an account with Bass Assassin Lures. If anyone needs any lures feel free to contact me. Hopefully my account should be ready by Monday, October 3rd. I will add these to my website ASAP!

I found "chicken on a chain" at Sportsman's Warehouse about a month ago, unless they have restocked they have been sold out since then. You can order them online with them as well. It will take about a week to get them in your hands.
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6
