    Default There deep!!


    Fished yesterday morning what I consider a tough lake. Other nearby lakes give up the specks a lot easier but don't have the quality. Started out trolling the 8 ft depths. Lot of bait fish showing up on the Bird, but no bites. Kept slowly working out deeper following the contour. The gar were starting to take interest but no specks. After two hours my hope was starting to fade. Last ditch effort eased over into the 13 to 14 ft water, fish on. First one weighed 1.36, nice, Name: IMG_20160927_144353224.jpg Views: 448 Size: 148.3 KBName: IMG_20160927_120404704_HDR.jpg Views: 446 Size: 96.7 KB caught 9 with biggest weighing 1.49., course my wife caught that one. Getting too hot called it a day. Turns out a nice trip, kept 6 .
