The Amish here in our Country. Shoot or catch all they want. Limit only matters if they get caught. They do not wear orange and will tell you there Bishop tells them they can't wear it. Most land owners have told them, not to sit foot on there property. No Orange no hunting, were going to have issues with them again. As we also told them no hunting.
Our 3 stock ponds were stocked with fish. Now there just stocked with water. One guy caught them in his pond. They had 2 60Qt cooler of fish, Now he had stocked that 4 acer pond with catfish. And fed them every evening to have a place for his grand kids to fish. Sad they don't want you on there property. But have no issues crossing the line over on others. I have seen them shoot a deer 200 yds over on us. AS there stand used to be on the tree on my side of the Property line. Tn has a 100Yd deal even if you own the land. You can't set up a sand or hunt within 100 YDs of a property line.
One of the kids here last year. Killed 78 deer that he turned in.Most of them do not tag in there deer. Just take it home and keep killing more. Out of that 78 deer theres 27 racks hanging on there smoke house. Funny part is only lived here 18 months. I know lots of people think there great folks. But let them move in and thow up a sawmill. Burn 24 hours a day, Smoke so thick you can't open a window or Door. Then see how happy your with the great Amish Neighbors. We have had lots of older people move. AS they cant' breath because of all the smoke.
I get along with them, but Feel they need to go by the same laws we have to go by. Like they need to take a hunter and safety course same as my grand kids have to. Wear Orange the same as the rest of us. Go by our laws on limits.

Here we have them pulling a trailer behind the buggy. And they have a john boat on the back trailer. 3 of them did get a ticket a few weeks ago. Way over the limit on Bass and crappie. All were under the length limit and no life vest in the boat.

This is a fishing report. Let's not get off topic and turn it into an Amish-bashing thread.

Tom getting closet to shutting down there smoke & noise filled sawmill. Unreal they will burn a semi load of slabs a day. But will not give them away. Guy asked about getting a load for firewood. Told him they were $40 per load.
