    Default Professional Crappie Exterminators

I know this is a crazy topic for this forum and I am sure the smart arse comments will come but here goes. We have a 90 acre lake up here who's owner wants a "world class trophy largemouth lake". Good for me but bad for him he has a butt load of 12 white and black crappie in the lake that are competing with his bass. THey are very hard to remove by electro shock. Are there any other alternatives besides draining lake or spider rigging the heck out of it that work. Does anyone know a pond management company that specializes in crappie eradication?

Drain and start over would be easiest and cheapest option. About to large to poison and never will catch them down enough to make a difference unless you opened it to the public which I doubt he would want to do. Drain it clean it out, put in islands and create channels, put in brush piles and stumps while its dry.

Cray hit the nail on the head. Drain it and start fresh

This is so easy, take him fishing for those crappie then fillet and fry them for him. No more fetish for the green carp, problem solved.

Rotenol (sp). You will not have to drain lake but all fish will be gone. They use it on catfish ponds down here

I like the part where he said spider rig the heck out of it. It is a very productive way to clean them out

Yep. It works great and is made just for what you are wanting. Takes the oxygen out of the water. Ride around in boat and dip them up with a net.
