Default New Ozark Pro Series Trollers Review

Well I thought there was no better rod than the Original Tony Edgar Signature Series but boy was I wrong. I just purchased 2-16 foot Pro Series Troller from the good folks at Lake Cove and man was I impressed. The rod is the same as the Signature but they have added more wrap to the butt section and improved the backbone. It really puts the energy in the hook set right out on the tip. I was sticking everyone of the hits this weekend. It makes it really fast but also forgiving. I can't say enough good things about it. They also went with stainless and add a few more too. The reel seat is moved forward a few inches so it set in my millenium holders much better. There is an added bell on the butt as well which is real nice. Lake Cove told me about them back at the start of the year I wish I would have tried it sooner. They aint cheap but really worth it. They are advertised for baitcasters but I am not sure why. They worked great with my spinner set up. Give them a try. Awesome.

Thanks for the review...I used my 10 foot Tony Edgar rod for the first time today and really liked it. Just wish Ozarks Rods were made in the Ozarks

Concur, I have tried and owned every trolling rod out there ( see photo: not a smart money decision, but learn from my mistake). I thought buying all the different trolling rods would make me a better troller (it didn’t, come to find out, I just stink at trolling).

The 16’ Pro Series Trollers from Ozark our hands down the best I have ever used.

Don't have near as many rods as you, ( and I thought I had a bunch ) Have Huckabee, Lews and B&M and like the Huckabee and Lews the best as far as the B&M they don't seem to have enough backbone ( have them in 10' and 14' ) Huckabee and Lews in 11', be trying Ozarks next I guess

Dang Kevin can I come over and go through your old rod collection?
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
