Default Feelin' a little "Cranky" @ Larto

Went to Larto today to troll some Cranks. The bite was steady until about 1pm. Then it was mostly over with. Trolled 10 ft deep in 15 fow. Speed was an issue with the wind today; 1.1/1.2 mph - too slow, 1.6/1.7 mph too fast. The magic number was 1.4 mph. Had to get creative to maintain that. Almost any variation of pink or chartreuse caught fish. And now the pics. Enjoy.

I'm using the big motor with a troll plate. I'll be the guy standing up in the boat facing backwards. LOL! I know it's unconventional, but hey it works. This is the setup I chose because I wasn't sure how or if this trolling thing was going to pan out. Plus, it was the most economical. I got the troll plate off of flea-bay($50) and I didn't pay more than ($20) for any of the poles that I have. However, the Line-counting Reels and Crankbaits are what costs.
I've had some bad days; no fish, garfish, 2-3 fish. I wondered if I was doing something wrong. But, I stuck with it and it's starting to pay off.
