    Where are you?

    far north on Tennessee river system back waters up this way is hit or miss all summer unless their is something for them to nose up too !! then they tend to stick around unless all the bait goes deep then they will too.

    Well as much as I wish it was going to cool down being realistic ,looking at the next 7 days per the weather channel for the Big G area looks like 1 shot at rain and no cool down. Water temps on the lake ranging from 84° to 88° .There were lots of bait starting in late June but the spotted gar have put a dent in the shad minnows around the bridges this Summer. .Leaves turning brown in a lot of the woods from lack of water, hope no one tries to burn anything, I think we would look like some of those western fires if anything were to get started in this area.

    We had a good rain yesterday here at Logan Martin, fished yesterday fish 1 me 0 water was 86 degrees yesterday morning. Come on fall.
