    Default Sardis late afternoon!

Only caught 5 with 2 keepers. 151/4 and a 13 incher. Fish were to deep for regular cranking so we had to come up with some weight. Put out a couple rods at the front with 3 ounces of weight and caught these 2 at 23 foot deep in 34 foot of water. Lake is 5 foot above rule curve right now. I will come prepared next time.
Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.

Where on Sardis does the water get 35 ft deep anyway? Marina is only place I've seen it that deep...

    Default Sardis late afternoon!

Seen 40 feet today! Our fish came off main channel between Clear Creek and the dam.
They got her gapped opened now so it want be this deep much longer.

Nice catch. It's been very strange cranking on Sardis this year for some reason. New colors and new depths.
