Default Kayak Trip Report, Barron Fork

I fished Barron Fork this morning spider rigging in three to four feet of water around scattered stumps. I fished a 50/50 mix of Bobby Garland Pink & Pearl or Chartreuse on a 1/16oz jig head about 18 inches deep. I kept a dozen returning three slabs over 15 inches. Also has a dozen or so short fish. Not a bad morning. FYI, I kept four that were just under 15 inches, another big fish morning.

I marked the stumps last year during the winter draw down.

The water was 81 degrees with visibility of less then a foot.

Nice job, I set my kayak up to spider rig early in the spring but still don't have the act for catching anything but gar.
