Default Mermentau Still High but a few

Fished until 11:00 and it shows signs of healing up. The water is still 1.5' above normal. 3' under a cork in 9 to 7 feet of water. Name: IMG_0535.jpg

I was out cleaning the shore line yesterday and my neighbor said 2 guys have been catching around the cypress trees by the camp the past few days. Said one day they must of put 40 in the boat. The water looks really clear right now.

Mermentau the bayou is clearer than the Mermentau right now. Lots of trailers the other day at the bridge.

Could that be teal hunters fixing blinds for the opening tomorrow? I remember last year on opening day there was no place to park there and I wound up back on the Merm that morning.
