Good luck with your tournaments. We would like to fish and there are several others who fished in central ky crappie club who might fish. But you cant keep fish. All other crappie tournaments let you can as many as allowed by law and weigh in 7. And you can keep all your fish. To much money involved in fishing to not keep fish.
The only thing better than a day of fishing. Is a week of fishing.

I've waited a bit to respond to this doing my research before speaking on the topic but I've checked with numerous tourneys throughout the state and country none of which have allowed the fish kept , if a person would like to keep the fish to eat plenty of time for that during prefishing and do to trying to premote the conservation of our lake for others we will continue to ask that all our members return there weighed fish to the water , I'm sorry if this will not allow you to participate , but if you reconsider and / or change your mind we'd be glad to have you , we realize we may not be making the right discisions on everything or doing exactly what everyone does but our members really enjoy it and the family atmosphere we have and Saturdays tourney was a complete success and I feel if you asked you will not find a single complaint and we plan to keep it that way for all to find enjoyment , clean competition that test the anglers skills in many conditions and family atmosphere if anyone would like more info or would like to join us contact me or come on out our next tourney is a one pole challenge on sept 24th registration at 06:45 am tourney start @08:00 weigh in at 12:00 come on out and join us

Sounds like to me he's trying his best to accommodate everyone.

Good job guys! Looking forward to the 24th!
Bubba thanks for the kind words and yes I was running 1/2 hour sleep but this tourney has been a dream for me and Keith for a long time , we may change the keep fish thing at the first meeting of next year if club wants but we see it as trying to protect the fishery for everyone involved and rules are in stone as far as this year goes, family atmosphere will remain and we will continue to hold the moral standards of this club and continue to build from here I too like a small group but would like to see us grow to a consistent and sustainable number to keep all going forward , we've got some stuff in the works that will further elevate and assist in the quality of this club , we like the tourney events but further love the sport of crappie fishing and comradery continue to provide an atmosphere of accommodation and above all fun !!!

That is fine those are your rules and I understand. But we fished is the central Kentucky Crappie Club. And also some tournaments that crappie.com put on and they let you keep your fish. We don't have time to fish that much and we like to keep our fish. I wish you only the best for your tournaments.
