Not fishing anymore? That's funny. 😀 Was around Clinton last night and will be some more next couple days following the little gray rockets. Lot of rain recently. Temps dropped, stained, inflow, fish little scattered in the rising water. Probably wait for stable weather maybe sat or sun. IMO.
Probably won't stop and say hi on the water, too much junk dragging behind and under me.

Fished it dawn till noon today, 9/3. Tough bite. Found um, good fish under the boat. Tough bite. Eyes and wipers I did manage to get to bite were right on the bottom with a slow bouncing retrieve. Didn't spend a lot of time shallow. Really shut down after 10. Finished with no keeper eyes and Wipers all at 23". Good luck.
