Default Water levil and clarity in Saline Larto complex

Ya'll about 7 mi. north of me and have been getting plenty rain how much has the water risen? I had to jump overboard to losen the anchor on duck blind this morning and the water temperature dropped did the sacalit start on their Fall patern or has anybody catching any fish ? I have a few days to fish before the excitement starts September 3 rd Dove season, Sept. 7 th Alligator season, Sept. 10 th Teal season . I use to enjoy this now it's more like work, I heard you work more when you retire than you do when you draw apaycheck

First Skippa Chippa, let me welcome you to the Louisiana forum of Crappie.com...I don't fish that area nor do I hunt nor do I know when the Fall pattern begins....but I am retired.....whenever what you are doing gets to be work, take a nap.....works for me....I am anxious to get back out on the water myself.....we have a lot of folks that are close to your area and fish Larto so I am sure they will jump in and help you out.....

Welcome to the forum. I'm not from that area but love to fish that lake. From my experience, the fall pattern doesn't really turn on till around Thanks Giving but it really depends on the cold weather.

Water level in past seven days has fluctuated from around 38.55 to as high as 38.94 and currently at 38.77' I haven't been on the water there since catching bull bream during early summer spawn, so can't help with water clarity. I think the NE area of La has had a lot more rain lately than in central La. Good luck if you get to go! ~ ~<*{{{{<<
