Crestline, yes they are. If B&M would use better components on their rods they would be pretty dogone nice. A good Fuji reel seat and nice high frame light weight guides would transform them.

Ship, thank you. I am blessed indeed, I'm broke as a welfare recipient on the last day of the month but I have good fishing in all directions of my house. That particular ramp is about 35 minutes away.

Click on the paper clip or the symbol that looks like mountains. And it will attach the pic to your post. So easy a caveman could do it, I know because I am indeed a caveman.

Enjoyed the pictures of the fish, the equipment you used and a picture of the bait you were using. I can see you are excited to share your enjoyment of the sport of fishing Keep those trips coming. ENJOYED!!!
Scoot, thank you. I do enjoy panfishing more than just about anything. I however enjoy spending time with like minded individuals while after big sunnies. The fellowship is as good as the fishing if the people you are fishing with share a passion for the same things.
For the last 15 years or so I have fished the rivers for smallmouth and rivers, creeks, lakes and ponds in search of big sunfish. People thought I was crazy because I am so addicted to fishing for gills. But I met a guy at my new job about 8 months ago and he is the same way. He turkey hunts and shoots crows as well. It's like he's my lost twin brother, we dig all the same things.
I love fishing for sunnies and I will try my best to post more of my trips. I went to a river I had never fished last Saturday and got into some good sized redbreast sunfish. Beautiful fish!
