I went to Ivan Lake this morning and had no luck at all. First time fishing since July 2nd, so it was good to get out. Tried several different types of jigs...couldn't find 'em.

I went to the local building supply to get some lumber for a project. I was told they were out of lumber. Some guy by the name of Noah bought all the wood. Something about he was going to build a large boat. WHAT?

Chris, if you ever catch up with this guy called Noah, buy yourself some tickets on his first voyage.

Went catfishing today ---- the stumps and channel markers were loaded with those Blind Mosquetos . as they were falling in the water, minnows that looked like shiners were scooping them up, and fish that looked like Crappie were chowing down on the minnows at the surface. We were the only boat at Jakes landing on D'Arbonne and we left at 3 this evening and saw 2 other boats all day and they were after Cats too.

My son bought property and built a house on Noah road. Needless to say that road is still flooded. House is ok though.
