First coat on the floor in this room:

Laying the floor in the second room now:

Worked nicely flush with the granite fireplace I laid:

I likes. Reminds me of when I laid the 3/4" red oak against up against the tile floor. My calculations worked:

I know the porcelain tile looks somewhat odd the way I laid it. I think square tile is boring. There is a pattern in this tile floor, probably a good 500 sq. ft. There is a method in my madness:

The new master bedroom is finished. While it was pouring rain yesterday, we moved the essential pieces of furniture down from upstairs. Spent our fist night in there last night. While on our shopping adventure today through the flood water, Lowe's of course was on our list. Hee hee, Randy needed a night light. The outdoor security light is on the other side of the house. It was very dark in the new room. The vacated room upstairs will now be the WOMAN CAVE. LOL All my crafty stuff.

The guest room upstairs is very nice as well. Everything is antique, all from my grandfather's house in West Texas that he built himself. Bed, dresser, wardrobe, side tables, etc. Prime stuff. You all are welcome to stay here if need be. Got tired of walking up and down the stairs after 25 years, so added a master bedroom to the addition I built downstairs. Needed a night light out here in the woods in the new room. Very dark to say the least.
