After a long and busy work shift the night before, I got a late start fishing on Friday. I got to the lake around 10:00 that morning, it was hot and steamy from the start. The fish acted like they wanted to bite with 7 caught in first 15 minutes, all were 8 to 10 inches and were released. Overall the bite was very slow, I felt I was fishing behind someone, though I never seen anybody. It was a hit and miss kinda day, but a pretty nice limit was kept. All fish were caught on jigs. The two best colors were white and chartreuse, and green pepper flake. All fish caugh in waters 5 to 12 feet.
A nice one takes a moment for a photo op.
The cooler shot of the day's catch.

I did manage a 7.5 lbs blue cat last night on Wylie. So that will make few nuggets for a dinner.
