Remus and I hit the water at 6:45 am this morning in search of some what ever would bite. We went to the Elks Park area at the water intake to see if perch or crappies were in there. It turned out everything we saw on the depth finder were cats. We caught about 15 there in a row. So we packed up and moved to Remus's old spot and we go 34 white perch and several each throw backs. Catfish must have followed us because we got our share of them in the new spot. In all 34 wp and 11 catfish 1.5 to 3 pounds made the ride to a friend of ours that's loosing his eyesight. He and his kids will clean and take care of the fish for a few meals to come. He offered to clean them and give them back to us but we wanted no part of them. Truly a nice man to do that. I had to pull Remus away from him. They got to talking and we'd still be there if I hadn't pulled. LOL Only a couple of pictures. The cat fish looks as if he was lassoed by Remus.
this was the start on second stop.
Finally got something to up load. Pretty nice cat landed after a lot of rolling
