LOL! That comment was made due to the fact that any time Ed and I get on the phone talking fish and tackle, we can't get away. I'm sure there would be some serious pole bending going on.

I had the same issue with a rod tip I ordered from Grizzly Jig a couple months ago. Got the package and it looked like the can of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls when you crack it against the counter. Rod tip was broken clean in two. I called them (Grizzly) and explained the situation and they shipped me another one-no questions asked. I guess it was not worth the shipping cost to send the broken one back. Sounds like both companies excel when it comes to taking care of their lifeblood, Mr. Customer. Seems like a dying practice these days.
