Default No.....This Is Not The Rocky Mountains.......

This is the Pelba Water level gage at Henderson for the last 2 years.....this is a very challenging fishery considering the varying conditions encountered at different times of the year....I have been concentrating on learning this area for the last 6 years.....it will be my home lake as long as I am able to go.....can't wait for the temps to cool down enuf for me to get back out there.....looks like the water will get back down to 6 feet by October....

Also, here are some pics from the past taken at Henderson...that's Mermentau in the kayak.....

I feel like I'm ten years older since you took that picture.

The heat is oppressive, but I'm still going 2 times a week by concentrating on bayous with shade. But I'm also out of there by noon.

    Beautiful fish!

Sometimes you gotta stop and smell the brisket.

Hello fishervet, doing fine. Been a little busy with work. Getting some fishing in, but not enough. Hope all is well for you and your family with all the rain.
