Thread: Perry 8/8 (early morning)

Went out this morning, fishing from the shore, and caught 10 or so crappie - too bad they were all less than 10". Also caught a baby channel cat and a decent sized wiper. The bite was great right before sunrise - used a "junebug" colored slabalicious jig with a chartreuse tail on a 1/16 head. I let it sink to the bottom, jerked once or twice to get it up just a bit, then reeled it in slow (just fast enough for the jig to "swim")... One of those morning where I debated on calling in "sick" and going back home to get the boat out. LOL
