    Default Plankton or Algae Clouds

I have been seeing lots of dense clouds of something in the water on my fish finder. I suspect it is Plankton or Algae. Can someone please post some fish finder pics of the Algae or Plankton in the water so I can get a better idea of what I am looking at?
    Thanks,
    Bill

It may be easier for you to take and post some pictures of what you are seeing and maybe it can be explained to you what it could be. I am curious to see what you are looking at and how it would look on a FF. I cant think of a time that I had one show up and if I did, I wouldn't of ever guessed it being caused by Plankton or Algea so now you have me curious.

Looks like small bait to me, in the clouds, some of those were fish on the bottom and side scan pics Looked a lot like what I think are gar on mine. some of the ones standing vertical could be weeds coming up from the bottom, I seen these a lot on sooner.

This years shad fry have hatched and there are clouds after clouds of them all over the lakes I have been on. It's been that way since early July. That's the reason downsizing baits this time of years produces more fish hooked up instead of short strikes. From what I have seen on the images that's what you are seeing except what DSteeet pointed out.......Ranger

I'm no expert but a lot of those pics look like bait to me. You have 2d of them?
