How did you get in there? I thought it was locked and had armed guards.

    It's still blocked..

Had to travel to downtown Memphis today thru lake cormorant, took 61 north, decided to swing thru for some memories. Caught a lot of green carp on that west shoreline in the cypress. We used to go down and rent a 14 foot boat for a day and power it by a 30 lb trolling motor. Lol, took the batteries out of our trucks for backups..we would work all the way back to the runout and come back down the east shore praying to get back to the ramp.. them was the days. The year before Lakeview shutdown was the year I got back into crappie fishing. I will never forget how hard me and my buddy laughed when woman at the Lakeview bait shop told us that they were killing the crappie on crankbaits... Where is this?? Where is this??

Anyways, just old memories, lake and water looks good though.. be nice to fish her again. And that ain't my four wheeler unfortunately Where is this??

They were pretty good size then too Cray, I first fished there in 74 and they were there. I remember one time the COE blowing the levy on the river to relieve some pressure on the rising Mississippi, water rose at the rate of a foot an hour and was up on some boat trailers when we went in.

Caught the biggest Bass I ever caught outside the state of Florida across the lake just to the left of those cypress trees. It weighed just 2 oz shy of 10 lbs. caught it on a chrome and black mud bug in sept of 76. Threw it up in them trees and pulled it off the ledge that is just at the edge of that tree line.
