I'm a little out of touch celebrating our 30th year anniversary with my wife, my best friend.

But anyway, how'd it go today? They catch'em! Seminar go well?

Kudo's to Brad and Brandon for a very informative seminar. Taking their time explaining the technique brought to our Okie waters. They were met with a strong south wind while fishing Oologah which made conditions very tough, and very limited where they could fish. Like all Great Fisherman they prevailed in catching several crappie and other species as well. Thanks Brad and Brandon for sharing and bringing this technique to our Okie Waters.
Thanks to all that came out and showed our Mississippi friends some awesome Okie Hospitality. Great seeing several of our local C.C brothers as well......Ranger

I really enjoyed the seminar and the information shared and I definitely learned some things that I'm looking forward to trying next time I'm on the water. As many of you may know from my post that I've been using this technique of long-lining and spider rigging on FG for a while now. As with any new style of fishing there is a learning curve of both the techniques to use and how and where to apply them on the water. One of things I learned that these guys pointed out about FG was how the creek channels are so steep that it makes it difficult to run them, but that said they did point out how adjusting your fan/spread to be more compact will help to get your presentation down to the fish.

Big Thanks to Brandon and Brad for there help and a Big Thanks also to Chris and Gary from Bobby Garland Crappie Baits for putting this on and for the free baits, looking forward to mayfly, horsefly and goldmember.

Wish I would have went to this one. Never ceases to amaze me how many different ways there are to catch crappie and they all work.
