    Default Chickamauga Lake report: 7/27/2016

Hippie and I fished out of HBSP this AM for a couple of hours. Boy, did it ever get hot quickly. Water temp was 88 degrees and the fish were almost in a non-biting mood today. We did catch 3 keepers, lost another big keeper at the boat and caught a few little ones.
The lures of choice were Panfish Assassins in Blue Ice and S&P Phantom with chartreuse tail. Hippie fished with an Outlaw Special on a 1/32 oz jig to land a few. I used 1/24 oz jig heads. Tough morning, but it is better than sitting on the couch. Grin.
We fished vertical structure almost totally today. Found fish in schools, but they were unwilling to play with us. So we enforced my boat rule on them. If they don't bite, we don't catch them. LOL

I saw where Jmax posted a report that the surface water temp. is 90*. The fish are par-boiled when you take them out of the water! lol
