Thread: New MM welfare law

MO needs a new welfare law.

If your on MO welfare and you move out of MO you can draw 50% of your MO walfare for 1 year. You will need to sign a statement you will not ever move back to MO and if you do you forfeit all rights to file or draw MO welfare.

There is a time and place for welfare but nobody sees the abuse like a grocery store cashier. I cashiered in college and a short time after, and people would come through the checkout buying ice cream and t-bone steaks. I was thinking dang these people are eating better than me and I work 40 hours a week. And then they get cash back to buy alcohol and tobacco. This one guy would come in at least once a week, buy his food on EBT, then spend $20 or more on lottery tickets, made me sick. Welfare needs to be reformed more like the WIC program to where you can only buy certain items. And there are many many people that would love to get off welfare but it's hard when government puts up so many restrictions that companies just rather export jobs to China.
