Cane Creek Park today report

I put in at 7 this morning and had 9 crappie by 8, I'm thinking it's going to be a great day. Then it stopped, by 10:30 I picked up a couple cats and one yellow perch,
Water Temp 87, yellow was the color of the day fit were holding at 13-14" in 20' of water.
Wind was the word of the day it just couldn't figure out which way to blow East to West or North to South or both at the same time. I dropped the drift sock in to slow me down then the wind quit. OI pulled the sock and the wind came back.
Finished the day with 11 crappie 6 were 9-11 1/2"

Nice looking crappie. The wind picked up here and made it feel like a hair dryer when you went outside!

Yes, Ray it's I union County. About 30 minutes from me. Small lake, used to be a trophy bass lake but that was a few years ago. Not sure what happened. They have camping riding trails a beach area etc.

Sam,
I broke off two that felt really big,I was surprised by the mix 50/50 of keepers. I'd have had more keepers but I tossed a couple that made the 8" mark

You bet I was. I haven't figured out the sitting still jigging thing even with Cutbaits help I need more time on the water
