    Wink Chickamauga Lake report: 7/26/2016

Dr Phil and I only have a fishing tale this AM. Reason being that we forgot to take any pics and I have always said that reports without pics are just tales. Grin. Anyway, we caught about 20 fish total, with 15 being crappie with only 3 or 4 being 10" or longer. We hooked and landed 2 yellow bass, 2 LM bass, and 1 white bass.

All our fish were caught on Bass Assassin Panfish assassin 2" Blue Thunder and 2" S&P Phantom with chartreuse tails. We dipped them in a secret concoction that I have dreamed up. I would tell you what it is, but it is a secret. LOLOL. The fish were deep like they have been for the past few weeks or ever since the water temp hit the 80's. It was 87 plus today. The bass that we caught were schooling and they hit the crappie jigs as well as bass lures.

I'm going in the AM very early with Hippie Dave Ohms out of HBSP. We will hit his favorite hole. Everyone who knows Hippie will know where we will be fishing.

Thanks Chris. I need to try trolling crankbaits. I bought some crankbaits a while back but have not been out to try them out.
