Doea anyine on here fish Flower lake? I had a neighbor 15+ years ago take me there during the winter one time. We were casting yellow and white tubes into what he called the blue hole and I bet we brought home 10 or so. I was just amazed of the fish we caught in the heart of winter.

Flower Lake is private now. Somebody with deep pockets bought it!

I thought they bought the ramp acess and the land, just like they did at lakeview. Seems like you should be able to come in from the river since it's technically part of it.

Lakeview is owned by Insley Bottom Farms. They own the land under the lake, and any access is blocked off with barricades warning that any trespassers will be prosecuted. Thils info came to me by an officer of MDWFP who lives very close to me. They tried to work an agreement with the owners, but finally gave up. Prolly the same with Flower Lake.....if they own the land around it, they own the land under it also. This how it was told to me.

Each state is different in who owns the water over the land. In AR, you can go anywhere the river rises as long as you stay in the boat. You can't anchor, get out of the boat, or even have a decoy weight touching the ground legally. You can fish or hunt from the boat as long as nothing is touching the ground below it.

Really!!!! Wow I did not know that. I miss being able to fish both of those lakes. Had many memories of father son fishing trips from my childhood at them.
