Raining when left Olive Branch this morning..
Got to Teckville at 5:30am this was looking east..
This was looking west..
Had a storm looming to the north of us all morning until around 10:30am
Ended up with 9 dinner guest, couple dozen shorts and 7 or 8 slimers
Pulling crankbaits in 16' - 18' of water around the timber, fish from 6' - 12' deep. No specific colors today, but seemed to be partial to the Arkies 350' for the most part.
Good report, supper time~!!!!!!!

Good report Snubbys! You done good! That's my next destination before Crankfest. Where did you launch to fish the east end! I'm thinking Hurricane Creek.

Put in at Teckville.. I favor the northside for some reason, working pockets and clearings in standing timber back towards Wyatts. I imagine south shore around hurricane will produce as well. Fish are scattered for us, single polers probably do better in the deep submerged timber, but I'm hooked on cranks... it's becoming a problem, maybe![]()

Thanks, Snubbys....I favor the south side ever since several years ago I saw boats getting swamped in a stiff south wind trying to load up. I go through your town before daylight and only have to go a little further on Hwy 7 to Hurricane. I think I'm gonna single pole the timber early for a while and then crank. I just don't like the wind on the Big Mama!
