No sir, not the case 10 degree warmer down there then the ambient temperature outside. I get to work outside tomorrow thank goodness. Ya'll be careful out there the next few days... this heat ain't no joke this week. Daggum Gore and his global warming What in tarnation...

Heat dome??? Beats me. Maybe it's one of those global warming dramatizations like calling what we have always known as an artic blast a new name--polar vortex-- in order to make it sound like a new dire and sinister threat.

Heat about took me down last weekend at the farm. I was out there at 630 in the morning with the K Blade and weed eater. Got that done and Bush Hogged for 4 hours, THEN had 3 huge brush pikes I needed to burn. Got done about 730 that evening. I was still worn out Sunday even after sitting in the recliner all day. GOT to be careful out there

Heat dome is what we used to call Summer. We didn't have air conditioning and we would have 90 plus weather with 70% humidity. There wasn't a "feels like" temp so we were just happy it wasn't 95. Put an exaust fan in one window close all but one of the rest and pull cooler? air in at night and use fans during the day. Ignorance is bliss and we were some happy folks.

When I was a kid, we had an attic fan. Kind of like a convection oven with 90 degree temperature! However we were just happy to have some air moving!! LOL
