    Default Fishing Reel Repairman?

Does anyone know of repairman for fishing reels in the OKC area?

I got two brand new Abu Garcia 7000's that i've had less than 6 months and both are no longer working. They cost me about $140 each and I hate to just trash them?

One of them the levelwind got pulled almost all the way off by a big catfish and it also makes a clacking sound when you cast it. The other one makes the same clacking sound when you cast and wont cast more than a couple feet (even with an 8oz sinker). Clacking sound not the bait clicker either.

No you can still get Swedish reels. The china reels have a lot more plastic than the Swedish reels. Those can be repaired but I found out the hard way to spend a little more money and get Swedish reels. I know catfish connections has about all models made in Sweden but do carry some China stuff to. I have some reels 25 years old that still work like new. I bought the cheaper versions and they didn't last a year before I was replacing parts.

I don't think he works for Bass pro I believe they just send reels to him to be repaired so he could fix them. I would think wouldn't matter where you bought them

FYI - You can buy Swedish made 6500 C3's and 7000 C3's at Catfish connection for around 149.00 to 169.00 with bait clicks. I run the 6500 C3's.
