    Default Chickamauga Lake report: 7/19/2016


    Phil and I went out of HBSP this AM for about 3 hours of crappie fishing before the heat wave hits. We did very good for the conditions. 17 keepers landed for Phil's fish fry this weekend and about that many shorties. Only one tiny bass today. Grin.Panfish Assassins in S&P Phantom, Blue Ice, and Blue Thunder were the hot lures today. We fished 1/24 oz jigs and let them fall forever before the fish would bite. The fish were more aggressive this morning than they were yesterday morning. Go figure?

    Good catch, about 3 to 4 hrs is all I can stand in this heat also.
