    Default Fishing JR style

Hit up Bayou Sorrel early yesterday. Landing not to crowded. Just went down the bayou and hit a couple points. Most boats were driving politely and cautiously after the accident over the weekend. Everybody was stopping and waving and saying hello. What a pleasant day. Went with my bud Warren. About 10 we only had 10 or so and started moving. I found a clogged bayou that reminded me of places I used to fish as a teen. Checked it out and had a little current. Then started fishing like JR. poking holes in the hyacinths and dropping in a jig. Caught a cajun mixed bag on mostly blk/char plastic and hand tied. No shiners. Ended with 3 goggle eyes, 2 catfish,5 bream, 6 bass and 29 sacs. 45 total kept, about 25 throwbacks. Fished 6:15 to 12:15.Clouds were nice and managed to miss the rain. All I got is a shop sink shot. Yes, that's Mae's foot. "D"

That sounds like a blast! 70 fish in 6 hours....they must have been pretty active. You'll get quite a few meals out of that pile

Thanks guys. I kept enough to fry for Mae, I and a couple grandson's saturday. Warren went home with 3 quart bags stuffed with filets. 20 I been trying some hair jigs, since you inspired me. Fishing, not tying. Caught some on them.
