Default Does any body know if there is a usable boat ramp in or near Osceola on Truman?

Once upon a time (30 years ago) I caught the heaviest stringer of bass I ever weighed in at a bass tournament. I caught 'em in Wableau Creek... 5 fish that weighed 28 lbs.

We were out of Sterett Creek at the dam and it took over a hour at 60MPH to get there and I have not been back since. I would like for old times sake see the creek again. I am wondering where I should put in and get there within 20 minutes or so.

It seems like the MO Dep't of Con's have closed the ramps in the area including the one at Osceola.

There is a ramp on the north east side of town at the park, or Tally Bend and go up river to Wableau Creek. You'll pass Briely Creek and Bear Creek on your way. Both are good fishing sometimes

The Ramp in Osceola is not usable, the Ramp @ Crows Crossing you can get out, Brush Creek is usable & 82 ramp on Sac river, south of Osceola is usable. all in a 3 mile circle aprox.
