LOL, that's what happens when having fun! I usually stop at the point or barb area. Now with stuff like this the parts will still show a little farther back, but my last wrap is around the point/barb area and still plenty of body.
I usually pair that Chenille up with FL Blue tail, not always, but a lot!

the fish will like that. I agree with Skip on stopping the chenille at the barb area so the fish can get more metal in their mouth.

I likes the jig color also say less chenille. Likes the tail.
That is a nice jig. I do have a question. You guys are talking about stopping the wraps at the hook point. Do you mean starting? I have always wrapped towards the head.
