    Default Grenada 6-30-16

Armyman and myself decided to try Grenada today. We caught about 25 or so with 4 nice keepers. I don't take any chances at COE lakes ( 13 inches or better). Caught 3 within 1st 10 minutes. Thought it was gonna be great. Still great day.

Biggest one was almost 16 inches.

If they measure...measured right...mouth closed and tail pinched...and they are over 12 and a quarter I keep them.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I fish barnett mostly (no size limit) and i keep 10 inches and up and have plenty to eat (especially since i am the only one in my family who eats fish) so i just don't take chances. I usually release everything i catch after keeping some in the late winter and post spawn.

We had a good day on Nader. It was a tuff ride from the Landing over to Skuna in a ENE wind with 1 foot rollers!.....did I say "tuff"? We were soaked when we got there! Me and Jimmy solved all the country's political problems, gave the Game Wardens some good advise (even though none was present) and caught fish. We could have kept some more that were keepers, but we are very conservative when it comes to length measurements. Anyway didn't want to be greedy and returned some good seed to the Lake.
