    Default Grand lake 7/8-7-11

I've never fished for crappie on the lake. I have a friend that has a cabin on the lake and want to try my luck, any suggestions or tips are appreciated.

Many reports from Jeff Williams owner of Outdoor Brandz in Grove of catching summer crappie out of 14'-20' main lake brush piles. His technique is casting GoGo Minnows in Chartreuse and Firecracker over them. He reports doing quite well.....Ranger

After 2 days of fishing I managed to boat a mixed bag of crappie, white bass ang a couple of blue cats trolling Bandit 300's 12 to 24' deep in 16 to 18 vow. Speed was 1.7 to 2.0 mph.
