I got out for a couple of hours this morning before work (about 5am). The bite sure wasn't awesome, but it seemed a little better than what I saw last week - maybe it was the fog this morning helping things along? I was fishing off of the NE point at the end of Shelter Road, just past the launch ramp. Using a plain ol' 1/16 oz pink and chartreuse marabou about 18" under a slip bobber, slow reeling. Got quite a few bites, but only caught one 11" or so. I threw him back, since I wouldn't have time to clean him before work, but I was tempted to call in "sick" and keep trying my luck. lol
