I know most of you guys cut your line when yall hook up with one of these but sometimes it's not all that bad when your after them . Caught these with shrimp fishing the bottom . We made patties yesterday and cooking down some balls in a brown gravy tonight ! Yummy for my tummy !

We have an older guy from New Iberia area living down the street and he loves them. He tells me every spring if I catch any to cut their tail off, tie them behind the boat for a few minutes, then ice them down and he will come get them. He always wants the tail cut to "bleed them down"

Nasty fish for sure. I cut the line on them, they do fight for sure though.
