    Default Cedar creek lake report*

Launched at 645am. I caught this nice bass before 7am, a nice start to the day. My wife caught a crappie at the same spot, they was hitting on top of water. Water temp was 83 degrees, no wind. We left at 930, boat traffic was starting to pickup. My wife surprised me with this trip. She charged batteries, got some bait to blugill fish with, cleaned out boat and found a sitter for our little boy. Dang I love that woman!!!

The report was from Saturday, the 26. The crappie she caught was 6-7 inches long. There are some hogs in there though, my personal best came from there, 14 inches.

Hey mccowan, I caught that same bass last night (or one of her sisters) while I was crappie fishing under lights. 2nd fish of the night on a 12 footer with 2 lb Stren hi-vis line with a minnow on a gold hook. You must've wore her out cause she acted like the water was 32 degrees...just kinda wallered around till she seen the net. I coulda stuck my fist in her mouth. 20 1/2 inches. Beautiful fish. Slid her back in so she'll make somebody's night one of these days.

I wish I would have measured/weighed the one I caught. Everyone has asked how big it was, but I will never know.
