Default Kentucky Lake Cranking Report June 24

I figured I would have a hard time today. My Lowrance is in San Diego and my hummingbird is only used when trolling. Thank goodness for the lakemaster map. Then this morning there was an awful lot of lightning with the thunderstorms that rolled through just before daylight. It took me a while, but found them in deeper water scattered. Best lure color Crappie. I caught 10 crappie with two short and three LMB. Still only out 50 feet on the line counters. Last year at this time I don't know that i would have any at 50 or less most this year 35 feet seems to be about right most of the time. It's no wonder I wasn't catching any fish.

Congrats on catching a fine mess. Surprised you didn't run into any catfish.

I have caught no catfish for at least 3 weeks.

I must have cat nip somewhere in my boat. They find me pretty regular. Lol.
