Managed 5 with a real nice average size with the biggest 13". My fish were at 4' in about 8' of water. Caught all tight line with blue/white triple tale.
Got to learn how those folks fish that I see well off the bank almost stationary. They were clustered down in South Bigueax.
I had forgotten how the constant boats passing keeps me bobbing on the bow. For a Thursday there sure were a lot of boats. I guess I'm spoiled by the lonely places I seem to find on this end.
On a plus note I did enjoy meeting up with Bruce out there.

I sure miss the old Henderson. When I fish there now, it's like fishing offshore with all the boats passing. Gotta love those ski boats and Pontoons. Sometimes I feel like finding the guy that made water come over my bow, wait till he's fishing his favorite spot and doing donuts right in front of him, so he can enjoy the waves. lol

I was also there and saw that group of boats. I assume they were fishing brush tops. I caught 15 and kept 9. When I cleaned them I realized I should have only kept 7. I caught most of mine trolling in 7' - 10' with Roadrunners and small Beetle Spins.
I also saw Bruce at the landing and it was good to talk to him again.
