Size: 26.9 KBMy wife and I Just returned from a weekend trip to Arkabutla, my first time on the Lake. Really impressed with the size/quality of the fish there. Didn't get into any good numbers but the ones we did catch were PIGS! I cuss MRDUX every time I pull cranks now after selling all my crankbait gear to him several years ago. I thought I was pretty much done with pulling cranks since I experienced very little success on my home lake with the technique. There is just something about seeing that big slab skiing across the water with a crankbait choked in their mouth that you just gotta like! So I guess I'm back.....Check out the fish pictured on the golden rule and see how close to being a keeper it was. (12" minimum in MS) Makes you sick turning one loose that size.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

I vaguely remember telling you the day would come you would regret that decision. I probably still have 1/2 of the cranks I bought from you. The bottom of KY and Barkley lakes are sporting the rest.

Of course cussing me has no effect, especially since you contacted me about selling out and I didn't haggle on your price.

    Great catch and post.

blueball, Yep.....that was us. We were the ones struggling to figure something out, lol. And Doug your correct, have nobody to blame but myself. Guess I should have phrased that I'm cussing myself more than I'm cussing you. lol
