If you need help with floating net selection,pm the Crappie Kid.
I understand he's now getting 50% off any net with most frequent buyer status.

There are floating nets and nets that float you want a net that floats so when you throw it in the water by accident you can get it back without a swim.

Ok the story is this. 5 years ago I bought one of those $100 dollar EGO nets. Brettw and I were fishing and I said to Brettw watch this Brettw this net floats. So I threw into the water and Brettw fell out of seat laughing saying looks like it is floating to the bottom. Ok I had one of those dumb A$$ moments. I saw advertisement that EGO nets float. Well that particular model did not float. This year I decided to buy another one and this one does float.

I have a small 5' net that's only been used in the yard. One of these days my skills in fishing may get up where I can effectively need a real net. I suppose when I think of a floating net it's where the bottom hangs vertically as the back/sides are towed around a school, then the bottom is pulled up to enclose them.
    Is that correct?

I don't think you are on the same page of music as CK is talking about his dip net should have floated. LOL
    It's not a casting net.
