Default Kayak Trip Report, Bradford Sinks

I fished Bradford this morning from daylight till about 9AM. Catch and release fishing, trying a few new things. I caught about 50 or 60 gills and Crappie. Everything was too small to keep, but I caught lots of fish. Best bait was a white, 1" curly tail on a 1/32oz jig head. Fish came from four to six feet of water on the lily pads edges, and were hitting the jig on the slow fall. Water was clear with visibility of 12 to 18 inches and 82 degrees at daylight.

I down sized to the point that most Crappie caught were four to six inches. Looks really good for this spot next year with some time for the Crappie to grow a little.
